Thai Kickboxing is an unbeatable way to get fit. Incorporating both upper and lower body movements, it strengthens and tones your muscles at the same time as burning calories, learning self-defence and increasing your fitness.
We teach all levels from beginner to advanced, realising that everyone progresses at their own pace. Students train with us who just want to get fit and learn a skill, while others go on to fight in the ring. It’s up to you.
The basic moves are fairly easy to pick up compared to a lot of other martial arts. This allows students to move through the levels and hone their skills. Incorporating punches, kicks, knees and elbows, it’s also one of the highest intensity sports and therefore almost unrivalled in the calories it burns. It’s an exceptional way to incorporate both regular exercise while gaining mental well-being, which explains its world-wide popularity.
The classes are generally composed of a warm up, technique exercises, partner drills, sparring (advanced only), conditioning exercises, cool down and stretch. Master Cheuk Fai Chan uses his extensive experience as fighter and 35 years of teaching martial arts to coach each student to their potential. It is Master Chan’s practical experience as a world class fighter that has lead to the popularity of Jin Wu Koon over the decades.
